NEWS Here is the latest news and events. 86th Annual Hoosier Salon Exhibit: I was happy to receive an award at the 86th Annual Hoosier Salon Exhibit held at the Indiana State Museum. The Hoosier Salon has a long tradition of supporting fine art in the state of Indiana. The show is one of the most prestigious art events in the state. I was please to be awarded "Best First Time Exhibitor" for the painting entitled "Blue Glazes" and another award for the sale of the painting on opening night. The event was a great success for artists juried into the show. 87th Annual Hoosier Salon Exhibit: I was thrilled the jury chose my painting to be part of the exhibit this year. Here is my entry on display at the Indiana State Museum from August 13th - October 19, 2011. The title is "Afternoon Glow". The painting sold on the opening night....how wonderful. The exhibit features artwork from oil paintings to glass sculpture. It is a fabulous display of Indiana's finest artists. 89th Annual Hoosier Salon Exhibit: I was thrilled the jury chose my painting to be part of the exhibit again this year. My painting entitled "Lunaria and Jug" was part of many beautiful still life paintings on display. The exhibit held at the Indiana History Center was a great success for everyone involved.
